Toni Duggan

The Shewsy holds such a special place in my heart. When I think back to my childhood, it’s one of my fondest memories. I had endless amazing times with my mates whether it was Shewsy school, summer trips with the play scheme, or simply having a safe place where we could play have a laugh and socialise.

The staff were always brilliant. They created an environment that supported me, shaped me, and helped me grow into the person and the footballer I became. Honestly, if it wasn’t for all those hours spent playing football in the gym with the lads, I’m not sure I’d be half as good as I was.

The Shewsy kept us off the streets and gave us opportunities we might not have had anywhere else. the chance to try new things, meet new people, and develop in ways that truly mattered.
